The price of living in Shardar is relatively low and a Mage could survive
for a couple of years on the 100 Falcons that they start out with if they lived
quietly in a small village. Most
Mages are not happy with this kind of lifestyle however.
A room
for the night in a quiet tavern will cost in the region of 1 Hawk with a meal in
the same tavern costing abut 4 Birds. Of
course, the better the tavern the more expensive it will be.
Mages
who hire themselves out as ‘Advisors’ to the local Lords will earn something
in the region of 3 Falcons a week, and the Mages working alongside the armies in
Dargoth earn a minimum of 5 Falcons a week.
